Job description
Calling account managers who have a hunger to learn and grow! Ideally, you have a qualification in marketing and communications and experience preferred in a digital and/or TTL agency.
We are looking for aspiring and established account managers to join our team. A qualification aligned to marketing, media and communications with experience ranging from one to five years of being considered for the roles ranging from account executive to senior account manager.
Reporting to the account director, the account manager will be responsible for the following;
Client relationships
- Day to day management of multiple client relationships
- Working with clients on new and existing briefs
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell services and drive revenue targets
Project management
- Writing briefs and ensuring that these are delivered against
- Daily management of projects, both internally and externally, within budgets and timelines
Financial management
- Scoping projects and managing delivery against budget
- Overseeing the issuing of CEs, receipt of POs, delivery of work and invoicing and payment receipting as required
Reporting
- Interpreting insight tools
- Completion of all monthly and campaign reporting
- Liaising and driving third-party agencies to ensure timeous submission of reporting to client
- Ensuring necessary reports are complete, checked and approved before being sent to client
Strategy
- Proactively researches industry trends and brand knowledge to increase strategic understanding of client brands
- Identifying strategic opportunities to drive revenue
- Contributing to the development of Digital/TTL plans, aligned with client strategy
Requirements
- 1 – 5 years client service experience in an agency environment, preferably digital
- Experience in Marketing
- Relevant tertiary qualification, aligned to Marketing, Media, Communications.
- Broad understanding of BTL, ATL, TTL, Digital and new technology in marketing
- Able to review campaign results, identify improvements
- Understanding of digital platforms and technologies
- Good project management skills
