Our client in Muizenberg has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification (diploma or degree) in finance/accounting
• 4 years plus experience in a senior bookkeeping or accountant role including processing foreign currency transactions and production of consolidated accounts
• Good knowledge and experience of the Xero Accounting package.
• Experience preparing international payments on a complex online banking platform.
• Expert skill level in Excel, including the use of pivot tables,
• Full accounting processing duties (cashbook, debtors, creditors, processing journals and intercompany transactions etc)
• Trial balance and management accounts pack for 5 entities,
• Responsible for extracting and analysing booking and reservations data and statistics, analysed by project and by agent or direct sales, which data is then used to generate sales revenue and invoicing data.
• The candidate will need to be able to manage a high workload with good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
