Job Purpose:
This module covers the concepts and principles of appropriate accounting frameworks and policies. The module provides you with the applied competence to orderly and systematically identify and record monetary values of business transactions.

Education:
Ideal:
Honours degree in Accounting

Alternatively:
Honours degree in one of the Business related fields with Accounting or Financial Management with Accounting or Financial Management to third year level. OR Bachelor degree with Accounting or Financial Management to the third year level PLUS either an MBA or postgraduate diploma in business or education.

Work Experience:
Lecturing experience in Accounting/Financial Management or Asset Management.

Work experience as an Accountant, Financial Advisor or Asset Manager for a group or as an individual.

Key Performance Area:
Lecturing and academic delivery to ensure students are guided and supported in their learning to achieve module outcomes.
