Outputs

• Liaise with the company AG Development Department (R&D).
• Support cross-functional processes for the introduction of locally produced parts, processes and projects.
• Support fitment and function of local parts.
• Evaluate and authorise internal deviations with the company AG (DAG) authorisation.
• Support trial vehicle build-ups where required.
• Optimise engineering vehicle quality by supporting cross-divisional problem-solving processes.
• Assist the plant with approved repair solutions where required.
• Provide technical advice to the Plant to help maintain the high-quality standards of DAG.
• Support the Plant with product engineering changes which originate from DAG.
• Prevention and resolution in Noise/Vibration/Harshness (NVH) related topics.
• Part of the NVH Task Force to develop SOMA’s (Immediate Measures) and do the introduction of LAMA’s (Long Term Measures).

Requirements and Qualification

• Knowledge of vehicle engineering
• Advanced understanding of acoustics and vehicle NVH
• General knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Ability to communicate in German (advantageous)
• Ability to perform the minimum required physical and mental requirements of the function
• Leadership behaviours as per the company LEAD
• Minimum NQF 7 – BEng/BSc in Engineering or relevant equivalent
• Minimum 3-year experience in specialised field (manufacturing preferred)
