Our buying team is looking for a bright, forward-thinking and conscientious individual who is eager to start their career in an administrative role within buying/planning. The successful candidate will have strong planning, organization and administrative abilities.

Duties and responsibilities

• Administration of customer orders
• Drop of and collections of orders
• Loading and amending orders on Dolfin
• Handling specific customer orders
• Liaison between stores and Suppliers concerning stock queries and customer orders
• Follow up on outstanding orders and attend to direct delivery queries
• Attend to customer and internet queries
• General administration required by the buyers and planners

Requirements

Experience and qualifications

• Matric is essential
• A relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – essential
• Working knowledge of Dolphin – advantage
• Meticulous with a strong numerical ability
• An orderly and well thought out work approach
• Confident and professional with strong interpersonal skills
