One of the world’s leading logistics companies requires a freight forwarding export clerk to join their team.

Requirements:

• Matric 
• Must have drivers’ licence
• Three to five-year experience in freight forwarding – mainly import sea freight
• Must be able to do forwarding and costing for files
• Must have working knowledge of Easyclear

Duties:

• Customs tariffs 
• Quotes and rates Involved with all exported goods 
• Ensure all necessary paperwork is complete and legally acceptable 
• Obtain charges and cargo release details from freight forwarding agents and shipping lines
• Responsible for ensuring any payments due are made in advance of any shipment as required
• Process all payments and raise necessary paperwork for accounting purposes
• Liaises daily with external agents and clients to ensure the smooth and efficient discharge of their duties

Salary: R9000 – R16 000 + Provident Fund
