Angie Motshekga to open the first stakeholder training
The Basic Education Minister together with the Eastern Cape Education MEC, the hourable Mandla Makupula will be hosting an Extended Capacitation Programme in East London at the International Convertion Centre in February 21st, 2018 at 10:00 am.
The Extended Capacitation Programme will be preceded by a gala dinner at tue ICC at 17:00 tomorrow to bw addressed by the Minister: Angie Motshekga. According to Makupula the department recognizes that the only solution to developing a responsible and responsive learner corps and stakeholders is through a systemic capacitation programme for all leardership structures operating in the sector.
“This training is meant to create a layer of informed young people who will be able to provide input on the implementation of our policies and how they work”, said Makupula.
