Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade 12/matric.
• Tertiary education is advantageous (relevant qualification in animation).
• A portfolio of past work showcasing animation skills. 

Essential knowledge and experience

• Skill in and understanding of 2D and 3D animation programs. (Adobe After Effects and Blender or Maya).
• Knowledge/understanding of storytelling principles.
• Creative thinking and visual translation skills.
• Relate well to people and show evidence of good teamwork.
• Able to solve problems and apply creative thinking skills.

Advantageous

• Illustration and graphic design skills
• Knowledge of the animation process in a studio or production company.
