But there could be a reason you can’t seem to get your body weight to stay centered. As you stand on one leg and extend the other high behind you, reach your arm over your shoulder and hold your foot in your hand. Keep your knee bent at a 90 degree angle behind you, and make sure your hips are square to the floor. Lift the arm that isn’t holding your foot so that it’s above your head and angled forward.
While extending your legs in the air, make sure your elbows are angled in toward your body and not poking out to the sides. Let your weight fall into your hands while they’re placed on your lower back, and keep your legs straight.

With one hand and foot on the floor supporting your body weight, draw your shoulders back, preventing your chest from falling forward. Then lift your hips to the sky, and keep your eyes looking at the ceiling.

Her little girl is just five months old, but Khloé Kardashian is almost back to pre-baby weight — and feeling great!
“She’s lost 40 lbs.,” her trainer Joel Bouraima, or “Coach Joe,” tells PEOPLE. “She’s back to right around where she was before the pregnancy.”
But Kardashian, 34, wants to keep going. “Now that she’s reached this point, she wants to lose more, to be fitter than she was before the pregnancy,” says Bouraima. “She’s about 10 lbs. from her ultimate goal.”
Bouraima, who also works with Kardashian’s partner Tristan Thompson, credits Kardashian’s work ethic and diet for achieving her weight loss milestones.
“She’s very motivated,” he says of the Good American designer, who during the height of her post-baby workouts was exercising six days a week. “She’s proud of herself. And she uses workouts to feel better. If she feels bad, she does a workout, and boom! She feels better.”
After True was born in April, “it was more about how she felt, rather than how she looked,” says Bouraima of getting Kardashian back into the gym once her doctor gave the ok. “She started feeling better and better day after day, and then she was ready to get more intense. She was always able to upgrade the workouts. And that’s why she reached the goal she wanted so quickly.’
Continues Bouraima: “Now that she’s lost the weight, the goal is to add a little bit of definition on abs and arms. She likes the triceps to be cut!”
Most importantly, as devoted as the Keeping up with the Kardashians star is to her workouts, Bouraima says she’s loving motherhood even more.
“She’s enjoying every second of her little girl.”

During the early hours of Friday morning, 34 suspects were arrested during a crime prevention operation at two hijacked properties in Hillbrow and Berea in Johannesburg.
They are expected to appear in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court.
In a statement, City of Johannesburg Mayor Herman Mashaba said that the properties in Hillbrow and Berea were raided during an operation that was led by the City’s Group Forensic and Investigation Services (GFIS) in conjunction with the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD).
“The properties that were targeted during the operation include Bluehuize, Vannin Court and Old Perm Building,” said Mashaba.
“A total of 33 undocumented foreign nationals were arrested. Immigration officers from the Department of Home Affairs will process those who were arrested to ascertain relevant information.
“One suspect was arrested for being in possession of a dangerous weapon.”
Mashaba said it had been confirmed that more than 700 properties in Johannesburg had been hijacked and 31 of these properties had been returned to their rightful owners.
“It is essential that we bring back the rule of law in our city and take it back from the criminal elements such as landlords who take advantage of desperate people and accommodate them under deplorable conditions,” said Mashaba.
“I remain committed to ensuring that the rot in the inner city becomes a thing of the past. I will leave no stone unturned to ensure that criminals are left with no place to hide and ensure that our residents occupy safe spaces without fear.”
Cape Town – Proteas skipper Faf du Plessis states that there is a bigger purpose and push from his side ahead of the third and final One-Day International (ODI) against Zimbabwe at Boland Park in Paarl on Saturday.

The Proteas wrapped up the series with the 120-run win in the second ODI in Bloemfontein on Wednesday, but remain motivated to finish the series off strongly, particularly as opportunities to cement positions in the squad lessen.
“The guys have been training hard,” Du Plessis said to the media at Boland Park on Friday. “I have also been training hard with the guys and I’m feeling excited to be back on the field again. The guys are motivated, we are not only looking at what is in front of us now, there is a bigger purpose and push for what lies ahead. At no stage will we be taking it easy. The guys are still trying to impress and are trying to get into that World Cup side.
“The players are motivated and driven to put in performances to put their names into the hat for the World Cup selection,” he explained.
“As a team, we are still trying to find our feet as to how exactly we are going to go about playing in the World Cup. There are some exceptional players coming through which is great to see.”
Du Plessis has been travelling with the team despite his injury and has been able to keep up to date with the progress of the squad and players.
He says he has been impressed by some of the individual performances throughout the series, but hopes for better batting conditions to give the batsmen an opportunity to put up big scores.
“The bowling has been exceptional once again,” he praised. “We have some good wicket-taking options throughout the innings. That is what we are working to get better on, from overs 11 – 50, we want to keep getting wickets, Imran (Tahir) has been exceptional. With the batting, it is too difficult to say where we have been leaving it too short or where we have been good because it has been quite challenging for the batsmen.
“It (batting) has been difficult with the wickets that we have been playing on,” he admitted. “One or two guys have been looking good but from a batting-unit point of view it has been tough for the guys. I am hoping tomorrow (Saturday) will be a lot different, it looks like a good wicket. That is what you want to see, you want big runs on the board and games going on a bit longer.”
The match is scheduled to start at 13:30.
A police officer was killed on Friday afternoon after being hit by a stray bullet allegedly meant for a taxi driver at a petrol station in Johannesburg east.
According to police spokesperson Brigadier Mathapelo Peters, the sergeant who works in Crime Intelligence was hit by a stray bullet at a fast-food outlet off the M2 Highway in Cleveland. He was with his wife at the time.
“Preliminary reports indicate that a suspect alighted a vehicle at the Shell Ultra City filling station and was aiming at a taxi driver when his firearm allegedly jammed,” said Peters in a statement.
“When the shots finally went off, the targeted victim had escaped and two shots hit the police sergeant and a woman who is recovering in hospital.
“The motive for the shooting is yet to be confirmed.”
Police are appealing to anyone who might have witnessed the incident to come forward with information that might lead to the arrest of the suspect.
Gauteng commissioner of police Lieutenant General Deliwe de Lange has urged investigators to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the suspect who escaped is found and brought to book.
“We have lost far too many officers this year and this too, is one too many,” said de Lange.
