Rage is curently looking for a IT Developer to join the IT Department.
The candidate will be expected to analyse complex business requirements and processes, prepare application system specifications, and participate in hands-on development tasks (design, code, and test) to implement efficient, cost effective application solutions.
We are looking for motivated candidate who wants to grow with the company and take on more responsibility as the workload dictates. Work ethic and self-starter is a must.
The IT Software Deloper will perform code reviews, streamline integration to existing systems and implement changes to existing systems to support business process changes. The IT Software Developer will also be responsible for coding and developing applications.
Responsibilities:
Use and experience with both REST and SOAP APIs.
Experience with modern and/or legacy development methods that may include Windows Forms, ASP.NET Web Forms, AJAX, JavaScript and SQL.
Proven track record of delivering quality, mission-critical, enterprise solutions
Extensive Knowledge on both Unit tests and Integration tests.
Actively participates in the testing and implementation of new systems
Assist in the creation of the system design and functional specifications for all new development projects.
Extensive knowledge of SQL databases. Experience with PostgreSQL is a plus.
Requirements
Six+ years of IT experience with four of that in development
Developing Web and Desktop Applications in C# / VB.Net
Extensive knowledge of the .NET Framework and conversational familiarity with design patterns.
Comfort working with Visual Studio, IIS, source control, build tools, continuous integration servers and test harnesses typically found in a .NET development environment.
Ability to create a new web site and maintain an existing site using ASP.NET frameworks (e.g., Web Forms, ASP.NET).
Understanding of different approaches to generating, templating and caching web assets married with a source-level understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Familiarity with a variety of data access technologies (i.e., SQL, ADO.NET, LINQ, etc.)
Experience integrating systems using examples from enterprise applications (i.e., REST,SOAP, JSON,XML, SOA, WSDL, etc.)
Run a retail store within the support structures and quality parameters of a reputable fashion brand.
Be in control of your store’s performance and profitability.
Influence and contribute to brand strategy.

Key responsibilities:
Events Management and Coordination
Development of a yearly event calendar, for the assigned stores.
Holistic management and responsibility of store events including proposal, planning, budget management, sponsorship and execution.
Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet/exceeding expectations.
Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project.
Idea generation for new income generating events.
Maintain and develop/source new supplier relationships.
Disseminating event information to key stake holders, departments and external customers.
Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur.
Assisting on-site with events, as required.
Business Development
Developing and managing yearly events sales budgets and forecasts of internal and external customers.
Drive increase market share growth for the assigned store’s, through increased events sales revenue of current B2B Retail Partners and developing events sales revenue from new B2B Retail Partners.
Relationship Management of internal and external customers.
Negotiate all business events terms for new and existing external and internal retail customers.
Meet with retail partners and turn their goals into workable solutions.
Public Relations and Social Media
Assist in the development of and executing of innovative creative communication content for traditional PR digital and social media.
Assist in managing the content flow within a content plan.
Develop relationships with regional influencer’s and engage with and promote stories to gain market share.
Responsible for providing material/collateral for digital and social media, on all events.
