Essential:
⢠National Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering.
⢠Have certified training and sound technical knowledge in programming, fault finding on Siemens S7 PLCâs and setting up of drives
⢠Have 3 â 5 years industry related experience (preferably at an automation integrater)
⢠Press shop experience would be an added advantage.
⢠Have extensive experience in a PLC controlled systems environment including Profibus, Profinet, Profisafe and Interbus diagnostics, Industrial Ethernet diagnostic and SCADA programming and diagnostics.
⢠Knowledge and ability to read electrical drawings â hardware and software.
⢠Robotic experience is essential.
⢠High proficiency with test equipment for fault finding.
⢠Good communication skills.
⢠Have the ability to train others, work independently and as part of a team
⢠Be methodical, organized and thorough
⢠Be computer literate in : MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
