A dynamic e-commerce retailer seeks a Data Analyst specializing in Web Analytics. Analyse web and mobi traffic while creating holistic data sets and assisting with A/B tests. Duties:
Financial –
- Contribute to cost efficiencies.

Data Analysis and Statistical Analysis –

- Produce management information and business summaries to enable more effective strategic, tactical, and operational insights and decision-making.
- Query, clean and mine large data sets, connecting data from disparate sources to identify insights and patterns.
- Conduct statistical analysis, such as linear and logistic regression, time-series analysis, and classification models and deliver accurate and high-quality analysis (e.g. NPV modelling, test design and analysis, risk modelling).
- Ensure the quality of data is accurately measured, tracked and reported on and that the appropriate level of documentation is kept according to prescribed requirements.
Web Analytics –
- Application on website behaviour and customer experience analysis.
- Compile weekly digital reports across a full range of digital platforms across web/mobile/apps/.
- Supply key Suppliers/Stakeholders with weekly updates.
- Compile ad-hoc reports for Suppliers/Stakeholders when requested.
- Present key findings and reports to Suppliers/Stakeholders when necessary.
- Data consolidation and validation.
- Effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) for project teams and business leaders.
- Prepare analysis of digital properties for internal use and strategic planning.
Requirements:
Qualifications –
- National Senior Certificate.
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.

Advantageous –
- Postgrad Degree with Finance / Maths / Statistics.
Experience/Skills –
Two to three years’ experience:
