Office/operations Manager Needed
Key duties in the role include but are not limited to: Managing relationships and negotiations with all service providers and agreeing SLA’s

Job description
Executes mechanical and electrical tasks in accordance with the maintenance programme and in line with legislative requirements and factory standards. Uses analytical and problem-solving skills to run tests on equipment to determine the root cause of equipment failure.
Responsibilities:
•Conduct set ups for startups and production changeovers according to procedures •Programme recipe changes on equipment according to procedures •Specify, install and commission new equipment for projects according to agreed time lines •Maintain machines and equipment according to maintenance schedule •Maintain services plant equipment according to maintenance schedule– refrigeration plant, compressors, water plant and boiler •Maintain stock of allocated spares to agreed levels and report shortages •Respond to break downs according to job cards •Maintain housekeeping, safety and food safety requirements •Perform Food Safety and Quality related activities as part of the BRC FSMS and QC/QA functions

Why returning to school is beneficial for health workers
A leaked plan reveals that allowing pupils to go back to school will also serve as screening and testing points for health workers.
The plan also notes that pupils could also be used as proxies to check the prevalence of the virus within their families and homes.
By conducting tests and screenings in schools, the target of people being screened and tested before winter could be exceeded, which could help flatten the curve even faster, the plan states.

28 complaints against SANDF
The South African Military Ombud Office says it has received 28 complaints to date since the start of the national lockdown.
At least 15 of the complaints are from the public alleging that South African National Defence Force (SANDF) members were using excessive force and physical abuse during their lockdown patrols, while others are from serving members themselves concerning their conditions of service.
