Principal duties and responsibilities include

1. Account Management

• Attend client / team meetings
• Build relationships (agencies, clients, media owners, suppliers)
• Work closely with Business Unit Heads/ Client Leads and other key team members in developing account management skills
• Understanding of clients and brands, through leveraging on internal and external resources / sources
• Knowledge of client and brand competitors

2. Media

• Master agency tools relative to the department assigned to
• In-depth understanding of the role functions and flow within the agency
• Develop media skills, relevant to the area of growth within the agency
• With the BUH meet with our media partners, to remain up-to-date with media developments
• Attend to calls from media partners
• Build a relationship with all the teams,
• Build a relationship with the Creative Agencies and other partners and suppliers
• Develop media billing skills, and /or have an in depth understanding of the billing process
• Develop a good understanding of the media process
• A good understanding of the timelines required of the different functions
• Knowledge of important deadlines, such as billings
• Contribute towards the completion of reports and where required master the completion of reports, such as status reports
• Ability to complete time-sheets
• Master at least one media discipline, including the use of the relevant tools

3. General

• Willingness to learn and develop through pro-activity and self-motivation &&&&• Willingness to learn and develop in all aspects of media
• Eagerness to get involved in whatever is required (get one’s hands dirty) &&&&• Ability to receive and follow instructions/ processes
