SALES MANAGER:
Elgin Free Range Chickens, Grabouw
The person will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for maximizing the sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to upper management. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures a strong presence
- Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and promotion programs.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Initiate promotions and advertising campaigns, as well as visibility in market through adverts and other measures.
- Directly correspond and build healthy and sound business relationships with customers and buyers.
- Oversee all customer inquiries and ensure that requests are appropriately responded to in a timely manner.
- Management of all product stock levels.
- Negotiate price increases with customers as confirmed by the MD and/or CEO.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Oversee all advertising, as well as public relations and brand management.
- Ensure representation in market through branding efforts, also internal branding.

Requirements
Requirements and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years FMCG, sales experience in management position.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Attention to detail at all times.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop and maintain relationships.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to integrity.
- Experience in Pastel Evolution will be advantageous.
