Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, plan and perform process experiments and plant trials
- Take samples of products and perform chemical and physical analysis
- Investigation and characterization of process problems and the identification and
implementation of solutions to process problems - Determination and verification of process parameters and specifications
- Calculation and specification of pumps, pipes, flows, pressures, temperatures, materials and
other process parameters - Draught and update process flow diagrams, work instructions and assist in the training
- Design manufacturing processes and optimize current flows and mechanical processes
- Update work instructions and train production staff ensuring optimum efficiency
- Participate in process engineering projects and ensure continuous improvement
- Six sigma or 8D tops needed for problem solving and corrective actions
- Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements
Minimum Requirements:
- A National Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 – 7 years process engineering experience
- A high degree of computer literacy
- CAD experience in designing
- Driver’s License
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Automotive industry experience essential with associated quality standards. (VDA 6, IATF16949, ISO45000, OHSAS 18001)

- Attention to detail in report writing
- Planning and organizing skills & provide technical support to other parts of the Company
