An established and growing IT company, with its Head Office based in East London, is looking for a BI Specialist, with skills in data warehouse design and build, as well as reporting skills in Power BI.  The position will work closely with our clients to design, collate and deliver the reporting requirements based on the identified metrics.  Delivering key reports and outputs are key to our client along with meeting of the agreed timelines and deadlines.

Minimum requirements / experience:

– Relevant Degree in IT / Information Systems / Computer Science

– MS certification

– MS BI certification

– 5+ years experience in SQL development

– 5+ years experience in end-to-end BI tools (current focus on PowerBI)

– Strong data analytics skills

– Sound knowledge and experience in the implementation of Microsoft Business Intelligence Tools

– Exceptional BI Development coding skills

– Advanced skills in Report and Dash-boarding tool/s and techniques

– Experience in Consulting at Executive and operational levels on BI tools, techniques and methodologies

– Ability to drive advancements in Data Management principles

– Sound Knowledge and experience in Information Architecture

– Advanced Skills in the compilation and presentation of BI Documentation, BI Client Presentations and BI Strategy, Roadmap and Costing

– End to End Business Intelligence Executive Consulting and strategizing (advantageous)

– Experiencing in Managing a team of BI Related resources (developers/analysts)

Role and Responsibilities: Data Warehouse Design & BI Reporting

– Write technical documentation

– Compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

– Assisting the development team in designing relevant data structure for capture and processing of data

– Design of the data warehouse structures

– Implementation of the data warehouse structures

– Importing and cleansing of the various data sources into the data warehouse

– Designing of the models to support the reporting requirements

– Building of reports in Power BI

– Delivery of insights and recommendations
