An innovative money transfer company seeks a highly skilled BI Statistical Analyst whose core focus will be given on building risk scorecards, running with costing projects and delivering on the company’s BI mandate. You require a Degree in Business Science/Maths/IT-related field, at least three years’ work experience within a BI/Machine Learning/Stats, experience building reports and presenting results and you Must-Have Score Card Building and Machine Learning. Any MySQL, R, Python and ETL will prove hugely beneficial.

Duties:

• Understand business requirements and subsequent documentation.
• Assist with data warehouse design and implementation.
• Analysis of source systems data structures as well as post implementation cause and effect.
• Development of reports for various departments – includes understanding the business need and being able to transform it into the relevant reports, dashboards and scorecards.
• Responsible for accuracy and technical integrity of BI solutions.
• Guide business decisions with relevant analysis on an ad-hoc basis.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve and evolve existing BI solutions across the business, this includes Machine Learning capabilities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Science, B. Com Finance, Mathematics or IT-related.
• Three to four years’ work experience within the BI / Machine Learning / Statistics field.
• Experience of Score Card Building and Machine Learning (non-negotiable).
• Experience in report building and presentation of results.

Advantageous –

• Knowledge of BI concepts and architecture.
• Knowledge of ETL and data analysis with focus on data integrity.
• AWS Machine Learning, MySQL, Python, R.
