Buyer: Purchasing / Logistics
Overall Mission of Position:
- Manage and monitor the plant purchasing activities in line with Group purchasing policy, to improve QCD performance particularly in terms of Product/VAVE productivity,PPM and MPM and to handle/organise local purchasing needs
- To develop plant supplier chain solution
Position Specific Requirements:
- Identify qualified local suppliers with the support from Quality and technical team
- Identify opportunities for price-process cost reductions, validate them with team and implement them
- Be involved in programs (new projects) as from the very first RFQ answer to the end of the industrialization stage to ensure smooth Start of Production
- Be responsible for logistics management
- Help on other ad-hoc assignments
- Customer Relations
- Dealing with machine, tooling and raw material
Job Specific Skills, Knowledge and Behavioral Characteristics:
- Bachelor degree in engineering or business administration
- 5+ years working experience in auto industry
- Experience in Purchasing in an industrial environment
- Previous experience in interior trim part is a clear plus for understanding the business fast
- Initiative, Reliability, Good teamwork spirit, Stress tolerance
