Make your mark in a small, down-to-earth team in our trendy Cape Town offices. The right position is available for a dedicated mid-to-senior level developer (or junior genius) with experience in C#, SQL Server, Html/CSS/jQuery, who prides themselves on speed and an excellent eye for detail. Exciting opportunities exist to help us take our influential African media brand to the next level.

Good communication skills, an enquiring mind and knowledge of .NET Core, Razor, CSS frameworks (such as Bootstrap) and Javascript frameworks (such as Angular) will be advantageous.

We distribute 5.9 million newsletters to multi-industry professionals, management and entry-level audiences every month and are the leading publisher of industry news and corporate content in Africa.

Your job will include:

• Working at the cutting edge of the online media industry to enhance pageviews and reader experience.
• Working with design, content team, production, sales and IT management on deliverables.
• Being involved in planning and implementing phased multi-platform and responsive elements across: web, mobile handset/app and newsletter interfaces.
• Researching and testing the latest software and enhancements
• Developing UX for online services ranging from recruitment to events, multi-media and news delivery.
• Have a passion for mobile.
• A willingness to see projects through from development to testing within prescribed deadlines.
• Developing enhancements and fixing bugs on existing code.
