Our client, specialising in mobile, bulk messaging, procurement, enterprise development, and socio-economic development requires a C/Python software developer to produce or modify software through requirements elicitation, analysis, design, integration, testing, and deployment.

Job description:

• Understand and evaluate the relevant requirements, architecture, and design
• Reuse software components where applicable
• Configure and extend commercial software components
• Implement software components (including prototype code, develop new code, and deliverable integration mechanisms to integrate the software components)
• Re-factor and iterate software components
• Perform unit testing of software components including the design, implementation, evaluation, and execution of unit tests
• Debugging of software components

Requirements

• Five+ years’ Linux/Unix experience.
• Five+ years’ C or C++ experience.
• Python experience beneficial.
• Knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB and IBM Websphere MQ highly beneficial.
