A newly created role which works across New product development and sales to grow the food gifting category in the business. 

This is a new position and the role may adapt as it develops.  It is perfect for an open-minded individual with energy and optimism. Deliver new launches and seasonal items according to deadlines. An opportunity to work on a project basis where no day is the same and challenges abound!

Duties

• Involvement with the new product development department from concept brainstorming to a product pitch. Particular involvement in creating presentations of product for both internal and customer communication
• Use product knowledge to identify the right product range for customers and create customer specific presentations
• Drive gifting sales by working with regional sales teams to identify opportunities and supply the necessary information to convert these opportunities into sustainable business
• Identify and pursue new customer opportunities locally, abroad, both with retailers and corporates
• Ensure effective communication flow between NPD and sales
• After a period, may include occasional travel to attend trade shows and customer meetings

Requirements

• Completed commerce/business degree 
• A business mind with a creative flair
• An advertising post-grad diploma would be an advantage
• Powerpoint skills
• Minimum two years of work experience
• Creative writing skills would be an advantage
