Job description

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to align with the company vision, be self-motivated and actively involved in overseeing the end to end process in the applicable area of responsibility.

In addition, the successful candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience as a visual merchandiser, with high energy levels required for this fast-paced, exciting and dynamic retail environment.

Duties and responsibilities 

• Implementation of window campaigns according to the creative that is communicated from the marketing department.
• All setups are to be executed within the visual merchandising guidelines that are set up by the company.
• In-store merchandising to include front table displays and other – dependant on brand specifics.
• Involvement and coordinating visual merchandising requirements for store openings.
• Involvement and coordinating centre court and other external displays.
• Weekly workshops held in-store with the assist of the regional visual merchandise leader.
• Weekly reporting on workshops and general administration.
• Ensure that all brands visual merchandising requirements are maintained.

Requirements

Requirements – experience and qualifications

• Minimum three years’ visual retail merchandising experience is essential
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle is essential
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office and Outlook essential
• Must be flexible to work extended hours if required
• Will be required to travel

Must have a valid driver’s license with previous hospitality experience in a Duty Management position, preferable in a lodge or hotel. Must be able to interact with guests, staff, suppliers and other relevant parties. Must be reliable, self-reliant and honest.
