Introduction A company in the IT industry based in East London has a Server Administrator/Network Support vacancy available . Duties & Responsibilities Implement, configure, maintain Infrastructure, servers, virtual machines and network systems including the security thereof. Provide Technical Client Support to both internal and external clients Recommend Solutions, evaluate industry trends Support the continuous alignment and improvement of implemented standards and best practices. Compile professional technical documentation for technical proposals, processes, procedures, changes and assist the costing of any technical budgetary items Compile implementation and test plans for new and enhanced technical changes and updates Monitoring performance of networks and systems and escalating any anomalies or improvements required. Assess any issues and manage the resolution of the problems inclusive of network availability and security issues Provide Technical oversight of outsourced VOIP solutions Mentoring and Coaching of junior technical staff and/or interns Support the internal drive for innovation and optimum use of new technologies Desired Experience & Qualification Matric. As Electrical Technician you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning as well as maintenance and repair of all air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC) systems electrical. This would include controls and Building Management Systems. Requirements: Trade Certificate – Electrical (Industrial) or any other relevant trade with electrical experience

Job requirements :

  • Previous experience in telesales, receptionist and customer relations
  • Thorough background in computers is essential, with knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Proven track record of and commitment to excellence in customer care
  • Experience in the construction material supply industry will be beneficial
  • Excellent knowledge of the Port Elizabeth Construction Market
  • Understanding of broad range of quarry and construction materials
  • Valid drivers license
  • Fluent in English, Afrikaans and Xhosa would be a great advantage

 

Duties include :

  • Telephone answering
  • Taking of customers orders
  • Assisting customers at the office, and ensuring that they are assisted promptly and advised correctly
  • Work to maintain and build relationships with existing client base
  • Handle customer complaints promptly
  • Communicate customer needs and additional requirements with Quarry Managers
  • Provide recommendations to management for the development of products and the maximization of profits
  • Various other admin duties
