Educational Requirements:
Grade 12 preferably with Information Technology and/or Accounting as subjects;
Completed a tertiary qualification (Information Technology or related qualification) and relevant experience related to the qualification obtained OR;
Currently in the process of obtaining a tertiary qualification (Information Technology or a related qualification), and at least a minimum of one (1) year’s related IT experience;
Knowledge and experience of business practises & processes, IBM and SQL, will be regarded as the minimum educational requirements specific to this position.
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.

Responsibilities
- Monthly/ Weekly Reports to Plant Manager: PPI Reports – Waste Management (
- Overdue Solutions Reports of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 50001 that resulted from internal audits findings
- Compilation of data to complete of IOD’s: LTIC, LTIR, LTIT, LRIR, LRIT cases.
- Waste graphs which includes general waste, paper, cardboards, metal, Recyclable oil.
IOD’s: Attend to all IOD’s
- Conduct all incident and accident investigation.
- Follow up and review final reports like 8D’s reports.
- Liaise with medical centre sister concerning injuries and first aid cases also request updates on injury stats. Communicate with the management concerning IOD’s and provide suggestions to improve health and safety standards in the company.
EHS Meetings
- Chairing the EHS meetings on monthly basis
- Report accidents, injuries and near misses
- Report the results of safety inspections
- Report results from EHS survey conducted
- Advise on legal and regulatory requirements
- Update on Training needs analysis.
Auditing Internal/External
- Conduct monthly audits as per the audit schedule on all areas of the ISO 1400, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001 requirements as well as audits in all service providers of the company to ensure legal compliance and with group customer requirements.
- Conducting supplier audits based in ISO 14001 requirements.
- Surveillance and re-certification audits conducted by the certification body.
- Aspects and Impacts Register
- Reviewing and updating of aspects and impacts register when the changes in processes or there’s a new production lines that are introduced. Update the targets and objectives register.
- Ensuring that the HIRA’’s objectives and targets are timeously reviewed.
Management Review Meetings
- Responsible for compiling the yearly feedback report to management regarding the overall performance of EEHS System.
- Giving guidance to the management team regarding the establishment of the targets and objectives for the new year for ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 50001.
- Taking minutes of EEHS Management Review Meetings
Environmental Incidents and Reporting
- Updating monthly reports on Resource Advisor about the environmental performance of the plant.
