- Associate Professor: PhD, PharmD, other equivalent Pharmacy Specialty PLUS Experience: Usually 10 to 12 years teaching experience; OR 10 to 12 years of professional experience in a health or medicines-related field
- Professor: PhD, PharmD, other equivalent Pharmacy Speciality PLUS Experience: usually 12 to 20 years teaching experience; OR 12 to 20 years of professional experience in a health or medicines-related field; AND/OR has had a recognised impact on public health (in South Africa or internationally) such as pharmaco-epidemiology, pharmacy/ medical/ health professions education, or policy issues.
