- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices

- Cooperate with other designers to match visual design when required
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities

Graphic designer
- Experience and excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)
- Efficiency and in-depth understanding of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Media planner and buyer
Experience in this field is advantageous, not necessary (This is straight-forward if you’re willing to learn.)
- Negotiating with media sales companies to obtain the best rates and most appropriate media position placements and added value by medium for all markets
- Maintain healthy relationships with clients and media owners
- Booking individual advertising space
- Ensuring that the adverts run accurately so the desired media message is seen and heard by consumers
- Ensure that the insertions are ready for billings before month-end
- Ensure that all proof of performance has been obtained and voucher copies are delivered to client
- Prepare chase lists and dispatch to relevant parties

The social media and content strategist develops paid and non-paid social media and content strategies, helping to grow a client’s business or brands through a variety of online and social channels.
The strategist must ensure that the team’s execution meets and exceeds client’s expectations. In this role, the strategist ensures that the agency provides:

The requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing is essential.
Preferably a degree in corporate communication. - Interest in and aptitude for developing social media and content strategy solutions and campaigns.
- Minimum of four years’ experience as a strategist in a creative agency or digital agency environment.
- Possesses the understanding of social advertising campaign management and optimisation practices across the biggies, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pintrest, Vine and Instagram.
- Monitors the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best leverage new tools and services.

The strategist’s position requires ongoing and in-depth interactions with the following: The strategist reports to the company directors. - Defining project scope, estimate and writing scope of works and technical specifications, works with the social media team in the creation of project specifications and time plans.
- Educates the social media team and clients and manages their needs and expectations.
- Determines project risk on an ongoing basis, escalates issues as needed.
- Experience in leading complex multidisciplinary projects.
- Employ a variety of research techniques to understand and analyse online data and provide insight about relevant online conversations and voices in those conversations.
- Monitors out of scope requests, initiate additional estimates and approvals.
Team leading, coordinating, managing
- Provides leadership within the agency and monitors work scope against all variables.
- Monitors all strategic activity on assigned projects and communicates status of each project to appropriate agency and client personnel in order to meet project deadlines.
- Act as the team leader on all assigned projects.
- Maintains communications with appropriate agency and client personnel to ensure positive workflow. Escalating exceptions and issues to Director level as required.
- Presenting content and social media strategy deliverables and results to clients.

Strategy and content development
- Competitive site analysis and benchmarking in content breadth, organisation and presentation.
- Creating development plans for online content; recommending content types and organisation based on user needs and marketing goals, identifying content gaps.

- Defining research requirements for web or social strategy.
- Developing content attributes and classification schemes (content models).
- Understanding of relational databases is desirable.
