Matric and a minimum two years of working experience is required, and experience in finances will be an advantage.
The successful candidate is detail orientated, able to prioritise tasks and work independently and has good organisational and planning skills.
Working hours: five days per week (must be able to work over weekends and public holidays in shifts, in which case he/she will receive an off day during the week).

Livity Africa is looking for a talented young designer (three days a week) who wants to develop their creative communications skills. As a key member of the creative team, the role will require the conceptualisation and execution of dynamic design solutions for both print and digital media. The designer’s main responsibility will be to lead the visual direction of exciting brands. The designer will get the opportunity to work on a variety of briefs, both in-house and client specific, such as: logo design, layout (publication), illustration, infographics, digital presentations, graphic elements for video, website elements (digital banners/website templates/visuals to support written content), roll-out of digital campaigns across social media platforms, marketing collateral and event collateral.
A key objective of the role:
Leading and overseeing all visual creative output from Livity Africa, including all aspects of the visual identity of the company, its platforms and client work.
Responsibilities: Manage/oversee
Ensuring design studio and design processes are functioning well
Overseeing visual elements of pitches and briefs from external clients, and driving the visual/design side of the creative process for responding to briefs
Leading the development of all visual assets for Livity Africa and Live SA – proactively leading us to be a cutting edge youth brand
Being the brand guardian of Livity Africa’s visual identity and development
Ensuring high standard of visual identity and assets for Livity Africa and Live SA, as well as other campaigns and external clients
Liaising and communicating with the rest of the creative team: for internal and client briefs
With a network of freelancers, expand the team where necessary to delivery on creative requirements
Execution
Working on conceptualisation, creative solution-finding and problem-solving across Livity Africa’s internal and external campaigns and projects
Requirements
Passion for graphic design and all things related: typography, imagery, colour, and layout
Up-to-date with trends in the local creative industry
Two to four year’s work experience
Technical expertise: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Intermediate web design skills (HTML, CSS)
Research and conceptualisation skills
