Ideally, the candidate would also be able to write about financial services, reassured that they would be able to have fun writing about anything from fashion to cancer awareness, or from freak-shakes to civil defence systems for a break from the technology and finance content, should they so choose.
However – the ability to write for technology clients is a specific requirement.
Be prepared to showcase your writing skills and ability to follow briefs – this will be assessed once you are shortlisted with a combination of the following: news article, opinion piece, blog post, thought leaderships, press release etc. A writing test will be part of the interview process.
It is ideal that applicants have some experience in a public relations environment, but this is not a specific requirement and we would welcome any writer or journalist who has worked full time in media, corporate communications or PR.
