MediaHeads 360 are Level 1 BEE media specialists that develop and implement integrated, strategic and creative marketing campaigns across mulitple media platforms. We have an exciting opportunity for a graduate to be appointed as a Campaign Intern for a year.

Job description and responsibilities (to be trained in this area)

• Assist with day-to-day admin and collection of information for clients’ briefs
• Participate in planning meetings and help generate creative solutions
• Track campaigns and learn how to optimise them
• Assist to cost of ideas according to the proposed roll-out and/or mechanics for a campaign
• A key understanding of radio stations and other media
• Work closely with campaign managers to put together a proposal and compile the presentations on PowerPoint
• Always ensure correctness and that all information used, is up to date and relevant
• Help compile a chase list for clients and radio stations
• Assist campaign managers with station and presenter guidelines for each of the campaigns
• Assist with collating the Post Campaign Analysis
• Keeping track of all expenses relevant to a campaign
• Requesting invoices for the hard costs per campaign and ensuring payment is followed through
• Assist in sending material to radio stations on time
• Help draw up a social media plan and follow up on deliverables for week

Requirements

• A love for the South African radio landscape
• Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Strong creative and conceptual skills with applied, practical abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good time management skills
• Completely fluent in English
• Good organisational and planning skills with attention to detail
• Understanding of integrated advertising: ATL, online, mobile and below-the- line communication
• Ability to script copy
• Studied a Media degree, diploma or certificate
