Support the LRC Department and business in analyzing the Quality Assurance Risk by providing operational support and data analysis to the Quality department.
Provide system and analytical support to the Forensics and InfoSec teams on related business risk and to the Compliance team with regard identified trends and investigations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage Quality Assurance Partner relationship in relation to operations.
Identify and implement enhancements to extract maximum value from Quality Department, stakeholders and External partners
Prepare insights for Risk Department
Project manage any data/reporting automation for the Quality, Forensics and InfoSec Departments
Assist with identifying Business risk through business relationships
Identify Risk reporting enhancements
Assist with analysis and trending of risk in support of the Forensics team
Knowledge and Experience:
Relevant tertiary qualification.
Advanced Excel
2 – 3 years business experience including insights and/or analytics.
Managing operational tasks
Designing and building business level management information reporting.
SQL advantageous but not necessity

Junior film sound design lecturer
As the discipline lecturer for first to third-year film sound design, Afda is looking for a committed and dedicated industry professionals to lecture and provide support to undergraduate students. The position requires someone with drive and initiative who is able to motivate and teach students both the practical skills required of a film sound designer, but also guide them into the world of sound design for the screen. The candidate needs to demonstrate a willingness to embrace AFDA’s unique pedagogy which is the basis of the interdisciplinary teaching and socialised learning at Afda. There is also a strong emphasis on cultural relevance within the teaching, and the need to help the students identify and develop a distinctive African voice to their productions. In this way we hope to be able to contribute to nation building and build the foundations for a sustainable local film industry.
The following duties will be expected to be fulfilled:
Duties:
Prepare and facilitate sound design workshops
and core course lectures
Attend meetings
Deliver the required administrative work for the sound design department
Perform administrative tasks for learning department
Facilitate and perform audiovisual reproduction
Manage sound server and sound effects library
Access to and use of sound editing facilities
Assess editing students’ written and practical work
Participate in the Afda curriculum development process for sound design
Requirements:
A relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent or recognised prior learning in the field
Relevant practical sound design experience in post-production and on set recording
Communication skills
Administrative skills
Flexibility/adaptability
Willingness to adapt to Afda’s outcome-based pedagogy
Ability to work cooperatively with other teaching staff
Excellent time and deadline management skills
