Urban Lime is a rapidly expanding property investment and development company that specialises in large scale inner city regeneration projects in Durban, Cape Town, and London. We are looking to appoint a Finance Director to be based at our Durban office.
The role will include full responsibility for managing the accounts department and supervising the Finance Managers and their staff. The Finance Director will be responsible for consolidating the group’s reporting, streamlining the existing finance function and improve systems and controls across the group.

Requirements

Requirements:
Degree or relevant technical qualifications:
Three years of solid experience with T-SQL, database admin, including server maintenance, security monitoring.
Excellent knowledge in SSIS, SSRS and Data Warehousing using the Kimble methodology
Excellent knowledge in developing SSAS cubes in SQL Server
Proven experiences of large data sets
Proven Knowledge of MDX, PowerShell, tracing of stored procedures
Strong Knowledge of SQL Server
Excellent knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures and triggers
Retail experience advantageous but not essential

The awesome work you will be doing:
Assist in the development of effective strategies, based on key insights, and increase penetration into the education market.
Identify opportunities for partners in the education industry.
Develop and provide presentations on Snapplify products to prospective customers. Client meetings will be performed over the phone and face-to-face when needed.
Drive Snapplify’s customer acquisition, conversion and retention goals.
Negotiate and manage contracts.
Ensure all partnered schools are following best practices in setting up and managing their e-learning platforms.
Minimum qualifications:
BA degree/diploma preferred; or equivalent practical experience (three years).
Ability to speak, read and write in English.
Proven technical ability with CRM programs a plus.
Strong communication skills, persuasive, and able to pitch to prospective clients face-to-face and over the phone.
