An opportunity has become available at our Head Office in Cape Town for a dynamic, well-spoken and self-driven Receptionist who is passionate about providing awesome customer experiences. The duration of the contract will be approximately 5 months for the purposes of maternity cover.

Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and enthusiastic about performance and will have the high energy levels required for this fast-paced, exciting and dynamic retail environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reception and switchboard duties including but not limited to:

• Meet and greet clients and team members in a professional manner
• Promptly answer telephone calls and redirect as appropriate, recording and relaying accurate messages as required
• Monitoring the reception and client areas to ensure that they are kept tidy
• Assisting with ensuring that guests receive refreshments
• Ensuring the reception area is attended to at all times
• Ensuring guests are directed to the correct meeting rooms

Administration duties such as:

• Booking and coordinating meeting room bookings
• Arrange courier deliveries on request and maintain appropriate records
• Ensure prompt collection of packages and deliveries from Reception
• Obtain invoices from suppliers for monthly Staff Event
• Train temp receptionist when required
• Compile monthly Birthday and Long-service communication to the business
• Compile and communicate employment of new starters to the business

Provide general assistance to team leader and team members

Requirements

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Required

• Minimum 2 years prior experience in a receptionist or similar role
• Previous experience in a clothing retail environment is advantageous
• Matric (essential) with a relevant administration qualification (advantageous)
• A valid driver’s license is advantageous
• Microsoft Office proficiency – Intermediate level is preferable
• Proficiency in English

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic performance marketer with a passion for travel to join our creative, fast-paced marketing team. 

Powerful marketing is how we connect our brands with our customers. To achieve this we need an inventive problem-solver that understands how performance marketing operates within a broader marketing strategy. The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for the management and implementation of performance marketing for SafariNow and Travelstart Hotels. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive sales growth and efficiency from performance marketing. 

Performance marketing channels 

• Management and implementation meta and re-targeting channels, optimising activity to drive profitable growth.
• Ensure budget is used effectively to achieve commercial goals. 
• Regular (daily, weekly) reporting on campaign performance and conduct in-depth analysis for relevant stakeholders and to inform implementation recommendations for optimisation 
• Assist with the development of strategies for account structure, bid optimisation, creative testing and keyword development. 
• Ensure quality checks are carried out on marketing activity to ensure accuracy and consistency with the website. 

Market and customer insight 

• Work collaboratively with the e-commerce team, trading analysts and developers (performance marketing) to analyse landing page performance, bounce rates, quality score to inform changes to optimise performance.
• Present compelling cases for change to drive improvement. 
• Active monitoring of the competitive landscape specifically on search and meta channels, sharing insights on a regular basis with the team 
• Work closely with meta, paid search and re-targeting channels to understand the competitor landscape in South Africa 
• Work closely and collaboratively with colleagues in the Marketing team (Brand and CRM) to gain further customer insight for each market that can inform targeting, messaging and timing of online acquisition activity 

Management 

• Support the coordination of initiatives so that common processes are used and that central initiative and best practice are rolled out to benefit multiple markets
• Work closely with the senior performance manager to develop and maintain relationships with key partners 
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting, with support and input from the senior performance marketing manager who leads the team

Considerable experience of online performance marketing in B2C on large scale campaigns.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Educated to degree standard or equivalent 
• Strong BI and maths skills
• Experience with Python/SQL advantageous
• Experience in management and implementation of PPC or meta activity to optimise growth and margin. 
• Experience in management of Meta channels 
• Experience of Google Analytics
