An opportunity has become available at our Head Office in Cape Town for a dynamic, well-spoken and self-driven Receptionist who is passionate about providing awesome customer experiences. The duration of the contract will be approximately 5 months for the purposes of maternity cover.
Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and enthusiastic about performance and will have the high energy levels required for this fast-paced, exciting and dynamic retail environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reception and switchboard duties including but not limited to:
Meet and greet clients and team members in a professional manner
Promptly answer telephone calls and redirect as appropriate, recording and relaying accurate messages as required
Monitoring the reception and client areas to ensure that they are kept tidy
Assisting with ensuring that guests receive refreshments
Ensuring the reception area is attended to at all times
Ensuring guests are directed to the correct meeting rooms
Administration duties such as:
Booking and coordinating meeting room bookings
Arrange courier deliveries on request and maintain appropriate records
Ensure prompt collection of packages and deliveries from Reception
Obtain invoices from suppliers for monthly Staff Event
Train temp receptionist when required
Compile monthly Birthday and Long-service communication to the business
Compile and communicate employment of new starters to the business
Provide general assistance to team leader and team members
Requirements
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Required
Minimum 2 years prior experience in a receptionist or similar role
Previous experience in a clothing retail environment is advantageous
Matric (essential) with a relevant administration qualification (advantageous)
A valid driver’s license is advantageous
Microsoft Office proficiency – Intermediate level is preferable
Proficiency in English
