If a proactive problem-solver and someone who initiates automating something mundane sounds like you, then a software solutions company with a footprint on the African continent wants you as their next Technical Support Engineer. Joining the Engineering team, you will be expected to trawl thought billing events, write Python scrips and help build products that scale, perform well and deliver value to customers. You will require experience in ISP or a similar technical role and strong Python and Django skills.
Duties:
Write a bigquery query for finance.
Trawl through billing events for a customer (we have lot of billing events).
Write a Python script to integrate into a new Telco so we test our infrastructure.
Set up a new VPN.
Write alerting for the Prometheus metrics on the Kubernetes cluster.
Guide a customer through integrating into GraphQL API.
Analyse why 20k recharges just failed on a certain telco.
Maintain, monitor, and optimise infrastructure and apps which are not in the core cluster.
Requirements:
Experience in ISP or a similar technical role.

We are looking for an Events & Project Manager to join our team with a minimum of eight years work experience in event and project management and a track record of having been involved in reputable events. Conferencing and experiential marketing experience will be highly advantageous as will any previous experience in an agency environment. The initial engagement will be a full-time 3-month contract with the potential of being offered a permanent position in 2019 based on performance and organisational fit.
