With our continued expansion comes the opportunity for a new addition to our team: a Talent Coordinator.
As Talent Coordinator at Rhino Africa, you will work under the guidance of Rhino Africa’s Talent Manager, alongside two full-time lifecycle recruitment specialists. You will also act as a mentor for the incumbents of Rhino Africa’s successful Talent internship program. Your daily work will cover all of Rhino Africa’s in-house departments, our international marketing internship program, our portfolio of luxury properties and 5 operating languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese). In particular, you will be responsible for:
- Building job descriptions and sourcing and screening job applicants, based on agreed objectives and employment equity targets
- Training hiring staff in recruitment best practices and maintaining full lifecycle feedback of the hiring process from internal and external stakeholders
- Managing applicant tracking systems and recruitment channels such as LinkedIn, BizCommunity, etc.
- Developing and administering skills and competency tests, as well as structured and unstructured interviews
- Building and promoting an employer brand and co-ordinating international advertising, particularly through digital marketing and with a focus on South African universities
- Engaging in internal marketing, including departmental forecasting and individual staff development, training and retention plans
- Analyzing and reporting on the performance of recruiting and training campaigns
- Facilitating Visa application processes for candidates from around the world
- Constantly refining and revising Rhino Africa’s onboarding, probation, performance management and exit procedures
At Rhino Africa:
- You’ll have the truly unique opportunity to pioneer the concept of lifecycle recruitment in the South African labour market
- The people you hire will make an immediate impact on this continent: for more than a decade, Rhino Africa has backed the champions of Africa’s people, places and wildlife
- You can expect an attractive remuneration package including a competitive base salary, 3% pension fund and 20 days of paid vacation per year
- You’ll enjoy heavily subsidized coffees and meals from our in-house chefs and baristas of the Rhino Cafe, kicking back in incredible new office space in the heart of Zonnebloem, Cape Town
- Maybe best of all, you’ll get to make the most of travel deals for yourself, your family and your friends. From breathtaking African experiences to getaways at our inspiring locations, you’ll receive up to 90% discount from 80 different partners and suppliers across 7 countries. You’ll get to take advantage of rebates on activities, transport and accommodation, including our own MannaBay and Silvan Safari Lodge!
