Duties:
- Work closely with Developers, QAs, and Product Owners to develop cutting edge products across the web and mobile-web space, using the company’s platforms.

- Knowledge share amongst team members.
- Develop enhancements and fix bugs on existing products.
- Perform alpha testing on your own solutions and guide QA on how to test in other environments.
Requirements:
Qualifications and experience:
- BSc or B-Tech in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Three+ years development experience working with ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC 5 and C#
- Solid Visual Studio experience.
- Solid understanding of Computer Science principles especially OOP, SOA and distributed programming.
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks (e.g. jQuery, Knockoutjs).
- Experience in HTML and CSS.
- Experience in restful services using Web API.
- Experience in MS SQL Server and stored procedures.
- Experience in source control (Git).
The following skills would be beneficial to have:
- Build servers and automated deployments (Jenkins, Bamboo).
- Cloud experience (AWS or Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience working with Elastic, Redis or Lucene technologies.
- Developing for mobile handsets using web technologies.
- Previous experience on large internet sites with high traffic load.
- Experience in Jira.

Every superhero needs a sidekick and we are on the hunt for an experienced HR Administrator who thrives in an independent, multi-tasking role. Working closely with our HR Manager, you will handle HR-related queries and processes, ensuring the timely delivery of HR project milestones. As the HR Administrator at Rhino Africa, your clients will include staff from our properties and our core business. Working under our HR Manager, your specific responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Capturing payroll variances and processing monthly payroll using Sage Pastel and VIP
- Extracting data from the VIP people system to provide monthly HR reporting
- Ensuring the timely delivery of HR Payroll Compliance with system controls
- Updating and maintaining all company policies and procedures
- Updating HR databases to reflect internal staff movements, disciplinary hearings, terminations, etc.
- Maintaining employee records and drafting employee contracts
- Assisting managers and staff with leave administration and sick leave

Requirements
We are looking for an HR Administrator who shows exceptional attention to detail. Our ideal candidate will possess:
- 2-3 years of working experience in the field of HR administration
- At least 1-2 years experience working independently on HR Admin/Payroll systems. Expert knowledge of VIP and Sage Pastel is essential to demonstrate in your application
- Excellent knowledge of labour legislation relevant to HR administration. An understanding of the BCEA, LRA and SDA must be demonstrated
- Full working proficiency in Microsoft Office and all Google Apps
- A diploma or degree from a recognized institution, specializing in Human Resources or a related field. Additional HR training would be advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills, a strong sense of integrity and the ability to work within a high-pressure environment
- The ability to handle data with confidentiality

The copy editor will be a member of the team responsible for communication and stakeholder relations, and report directly to the content hub manager.
The corporate communication division is responsible for a variety of digital and printed publications, media releases, video productions, web content and communication campaigns. The purpose of this position is to ensure excellent quality content (in various formats) as an output of the content hub; ensure alignment of content with institutional and divisional objectives; coordinate content distribution to various channels, and to provide on-the-job training for journalists as may be necessary.
Duties:
- Writing, editing, translating, and proofreading various texts with emphasis on editing and adapting
- Adapting copy (rewriting, editing, reverting to writer) to improve readability, accuracy, style, and clarity
- Adapting copy for various channels, target audiences, and platforms
- Ensuring that, where required, content is aligned with institutional core messages
- Verifying facts, dates, and statistics and using standard reference sources to ensure accurate and top-quality texts
- Compiling and updating style guides
- Providing guidance and training journalists to ensure content of exceptional quality
Requirements:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree
- At least five years’ relevant and proven experience of working with text in various formats
- Computer proficiency: MS Office
- Excellent language proficiency in both Afrikaans and English, as content output is in both languages
- Proven creativity in copy generation and/or copy revision
- Ability to function in a multi-language and multicultural environment
- Meticulous execution of functions and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team, and to use own initiative
- Ability to function well under pressure and to meet deadlines
