Our client, a Cape Town-based research, design and development firm with services that include hardware and software solutions is looking for a quality assurance analyst to be responsible to the testing of all company products and systems, identifying areas of concern in respect of quality and performance, and to make recommendations for improvements where necessary. Successful incumbent should have grade 12, a minimum two years of technical experience in QA and a relevant testing qualification.
Duties:
Develop and implement a quality assurance test plan.
Establish suitable testing methodology and processes.
Test products and solutions with respect to functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility.
Conduct research where necessary to gain technical understanding of projects.
Provide reports on test results with detailed documentation on failed tests.
Provide recommendations for improvements of products and systems where tests fail.
Escalate failed tests to relevant internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent certificate.
Minimum two years’ technical experience in the field of QA.
Relevant software testing qualification.
Degree/diploma in mathematics, sciences, software, engineering beneficial.
Research and design experience highly advantageous.

Consultative Sales Executive
R11,500 + commission (avg is R30,000)

Requirements:

Key Accountabilities:
Assist in the planning of sales and marketing strategies
Identification of new clients through lead generation (cold calling). A minimum of 50 calls per week is the target
Gathering of marketing intelligence
Performance of sales presentations
Effective handling of client objections and complaints
Participation in the organization and successful completion of trade shows, marketing exhibitions and launches
