The purpose of the job:
The social media customer engagement manager must therefore make use of social platforms to: engage in strategic external listening, manage the group’s reputational risk, promote positive customer engagement, positively influence the perception of the Group and its brands, and professionally and swiftly resolve customer complaints, in conjunction with the customer relations manager. Ultimately, this role is responsible for social customer care and the protection and promotion of the Group’s reputation within social communities.
The ideal candidate for this role would possess the following qualifications, experiences, knowledge and skills:
Diploma/degree or equivalent in social media, communications and/or journalism
Editorial media journalism (three to five years)
Social media complaints management (four to six years)
Managing or leading a team of social media agents (two to three years)
Social media (blogging, Facebook, Twitter) – (four to six years)
Customer service complaint handling – (three to five years)
Written communication skills – English and Afrikaans
Verbal communication skills – English and Afrikaans
Analytical and critical thinking
Social media analytics
Experience using any social media engagement tool
Ability to identify reputational risks

As studio coordinator for a well known children’s show you are a key team member in the on-screen execution of the production. Together with the director and studio producer, you play a pivotal role in ensuring that the creative and logistical elements included in the scripts are executed in studio. You should therefore display an excellent organisational ability with a keen eye for details.
You can take direction from the producer and production manager, but are also comfortable and confident working on your own to deliver what is required.

Key responsibility areas
Administration and recon of weekly studio petty cash
Sourcing props and facilitation thereof on set
Presenting props on the show in such a way that keeps in line with the youthful focus on the show with thought into bright colours, bold letters, etc. that will facilitate clarity when shot on screen.
Purchasing of daily studio meals for presenters and guests
Meeting and greeting studio guests
Assisting with hybrid system and smses for scrolling on live show
Recording of live show to betacam, DVD, Black Storm and Betacam tape
Administration of information for music cue sheets with regards to studio music received from studio Sound Engineer
Production assistance on location shoots when required
Sourcing of pictures for expression e.g. weekly poll as and when required
