Living Green Walls is the leading vertical garden installation company in the Western Cape. We seek to employ an operations and maintenance manager at our Cape Town office.
The operations and maintenance manager will make sure that Living Green Walls current installations and on-going maintenance projects in Cape Town are running as well as it possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of its clients. This includes ensuring every vertical garden installation reflects the design it was built with and retains a designed quality throughout its existence. They are responsible for managing an installation team that can efficiently and accurately install each vertical garden to precision. They are also responsible for the maintenance team and must ensure that they complete all vertical garden maintenance with accuracy and care. Logistics and effective scheduling will also be key.
Key responsibilities include:
Implementation and oversight of all aspects of vertical garden installation
Management of maintenance tools, equipment, plants and fertilisers to ensure stock is controlled and eliminate shrinkage
Management of weekly maintenance team and maintenance sites to ensure effective care of all projects
Horticultural oversight – plant care, pruning, plant species management and pest control

Qualifications –

Experience/skills –

Knowledge of OLTP/OLAP systems, Dimensional Modelling, business rule transformations and data analysis.
Conventional and data warehouse modelling skills are required, in order to understand the various data models and to define the mappings between them.
Experience with BI application designs, architectures, and building BI and data visualisations for analytic solutions. (MS-SQL Stack).
System analysis and design skills are necessary to design and document the data extractions and transformations.
Experience in working within in an Agile project environment .
