• Handling of safari requests from agents with costing and accurate information

Qualification and experience:

• Matric and Tertiary qualification in tourism/sales
• Experience and knowledge of tourism operations in East Africa – Kenya and Tanzania
• Knowledge of sales systems Travelogic and Res Request

Job description

We are looking for an experienced DTP operator/Designer to handle various printing, cutting and trimming jobs in a digital printing environment. The successful candidate will have worked with setting up artwork to print on a variety of substrates, including printed vinyl, PVC, Forex, vinyl cutting etc. We have solvent and UV printers and will require that the operator know how to set up work on these machines.

It is a fast paced environment with a vibrant and energetic workforce and we are looking for someone that would fit in the this culture. You will need to drive each job from proofing, printing, finishing and final delivery to client. As we are a deadline driven business you will be required to occasionally work late and on weekends with sometimes very little notice, therefore having your own transport is critical.

Having experience as a printer on solvent or UV printers will be a bonus, but not critical to your successful application.

A dynamic financial services company seeks a finance reporting and tax manager to be responsible for the external and internal finance reporting functions by ensuring submission deadlines are met and all reporting is aligned to best practice financial governance and internal controls. The ideal candidate must possess a B.Comm (accounting) or equivalent finance qualification and three to five years’ relevant experience.

Duties:

Annual financial statements and statutory returns

• Manage and review the annual financial statements to ensure that they accurately reflect the financial results and are compliant with IFRS.
• Manage and review the regulatory returns process to ensure that the NCR, SARB, SARS and CIPC returns are submitted within the required timelines.

Internal reporting

• Manage and support the internal reporting team to ensure the accurate preparation and timely submission of monthly finance packs containing all subsidiary information with commentary analysing the performance of the companies.
• Manage the timeline for board packs, including consolidating board pack information and reviewing for completeness and accuracy of the board pack, such that submission to the board takes place timeously.
• Prepare and / or review technical accounting papers.

External shareholder reporting

• Manage and support the external reporting team to ensure the accurate preparation and timely submissions of all external reporting information and packs.
• Manage and review the status of the reconciliation process and FACT sheet reporting to BNP.

Tax management

• Manage the tax reporting and submission deadlines.

Month-end process

• Assist with managing the month end process:
