BAKER POSITION available in Stellenbosch The main job purpose is to produce a wide variety of baked goods in accordance with customer needs, company food safety standards and procedures. Baker’s areas of focus in terms of process:
• Stock take
• Ordering of ingredients
• Confirming all orders placed
• Establishing Dough Production requirements
• Scaling of ingredients
• Mixing dough
• Fermenting dough
• Shaping
• Baking
• Cooling
• Packaging of baked goods
• Confirming production yield and orders out
• Documenting process
• Mise en Place: Prep all ingredients and tools for the following shift QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Min Matric
• A prerequisite to this position is to have a general understanding of all the skills listed above.
