Job description:
Daily activities range from concept development and marketing strategies, finding the right partners to work within South Africa and in the Netherlands (PR, marketing, sales and relationship management) and building a community around the brands (online marketing and events).
Duties and responsibilities:
The job is a mix of visiting clients in South Africa and in the Netherlands, processing orders and admin (back-end related operations), acquisition and enthusing partners and restaurants for Restaurant Week South Africa.
Responsible for marketing and pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
Must be an intermediary between DiningCity NL (HQ and back-end office for restaurant Week) and Label Orange Agency (Pty.) Ltd., organiser of the Restaurant Week South Africa.
Must be strategic, creative and commercial and is aware of the latest market developments and trends.
Must have a large relevant network in the Netherlands and South Africa and knows exactly which parties we need in the field of partnerships and potential clients.
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
Fluent in Dutch and English
Understand “The Dutch Approach”
Have completed a business and/or sales study (university-level education)
Have +- five years of experience in sales management and business development
Have proven experience with CRM and e-commerce
