A Cape Town based creative agency is looking to employ a digitally savvy marketer to assist in the management of multiple client campaigns. This vital position will manage the content calendars for the various marketing channels and will be responsible for fostering the brands by co-creating and coordinating exciting and engaging content interactions through email, social media, paid search, SEO, Blogs and Direct.
As custodian of the campaign calendars, the successful candidate will liaise with all brands and departments to ensure the various marketing channels work together to promote specials, promotions and highlights.
Key requirements
Strong networking and communication skills
Three to five years’ digital marketing experience
Ability to work independently and with teams autonomously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Passionate about the Western Cape and travel and tourism
Fluent in English (write, read, speak). Additional language advantageous
Primary responsibilities:
Planning and communication
Understanding all relevant brands and product; identifying and understanding the relevant competitors in each market; keeping up to date on all competitor and own-brand pricing and activity in relevant markets
Identify areas of opportunity and produce annual plan ahead for digital marketing activities and campaigns challenges
Assist in creating, updating and maintaining monthly multi-channel content calendars
Identify and update target groups, audiences and customer segments
Work with the design, content and web development teams to create immersive campaigns
Email marketing
Create engagement calendars for all managed brands
Segment databases and tag data to make personalised lists
Brief in email design and content requirements including SEO
Load, send and track mail campaigns
SEO
Find growth keywords and build content strategy around them
Identify potential backlink partners
Identify third party collaborators and publications
Analytics
Monitor and measure the success of online campaigns
Analyse reports and suggest new campaigns and initiatives to enhance performance
Update annual and monthly calendars accordingly

SEO tools – e.g. SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.

We require an experienced litho press operator to work within a busy factory environment operating our litho sheetfed press, working to high-quality print standards and tight deadlines. This role requires a high attention to detail and making thorough checks to achieve the highest level of product quality.
A working experience is required to operate a Heidelberg XL105 on a variety of stock for products such as commercial printing and packaging. The successful applicant will be careful, precise and take pride in their work. You will be expected to maintain machinery in an excellent working condition according to our Company’s standards.
We require an individual who is able to do shift work and is flexible with a positive attitude towards their work and the business needs.

Minimum five years of experience on a Heidelberg XL105 press
Experience with commercial as well as packaging work
