The video editor/motion graphics/graphic designer will work directly with the Creative team to create and manage assets for TBN in Africa. You will collaborate with members of the Creative and Production teams along with the Channel Director to create assets for TBN in Africa television channel and digital platforms and any other marketing channels in order to drive brand awareness while growing our engaged audience.
You must have a strong sense of aesthetics, audience behaviours, and be able to bring stylish, elevated ideas to the table. In addition, you should have the ability to quickly deliver clean, on-brand designs based on existing style guides and brand guidelines in a fast-paced environment. Not only do you have the technical skills and a portfolio/showreel to back it up, but you will function as a conceptual thinker that can contribute to larger campaigns. The ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with key Managers is essential.
Essential Functions:
Produce creative assets including for Print media, graphics, videos, motion graphics, templates, layouts and visual standards for marketing activities across multiple channels and digital platforms. These include but are not limited to TV shows, promos, web, social media, events, email campaigns, digital outdoor and other activations
As a subject matter expert in print, motion graphics and video, you’re always looking at top brands and social channels for trends and bringing unique ideas to the table and keep our teams informed
Strong understanding of short-form video editing and overall best practices across key communication platforms
The ability to leverage storytelling and editorial styles to formulate cohesive, effective assets
Create high-quality motion graphics and videos independently while proactively managing time and working towards deadlines
Tackle challenges, discover efficiencies and learn new practices to ease the flow of ideation to conceptualization
Ability to take constructive feedback and implement changes quickly and accurately
Manage, organise and archive digital media assets from projects
Must have a good understanding of Apple Mac Computers

A well-known Christian broadcaster is looking for a dynamic, creative and motivated video editor/videographer to join a young passionate team.
As a video editor, you will be directly involved in the management and effective running of the daily operations of the production and studio department. The main function of this role is to help with channel maintenance under the guidance of the creative director as well as to assist in studio with camera, vision mixing and various other projects.
This role has a large focus on leading filming and editing projects, quality control and managing projects to completion. Films at various locations as necessary
Maintains and operates video cameras, lighting and audio equipment

Production assistance:
– Preparing studio well in advance before shoots – Setting up of cameras – Operating cameras (on and off-site) – Operating autocue as and when needed – Vision mixing
