The role:
An Analytics Team Lead is responsible for managing the Analytics Team and driving data, measurement, tracking and analytics best practices across the team and the business. You are required to have detailed and in-depth Analytics and Tagging knowledge which you will share with the team to grow and up-skill them to a Senior level. As an Analytics Team Lead, you work closely with the Head of Data Strategy and Analytics, Operations Team, Consulting Team and Client Services team.
Essential requirements:
- At Least five years experience within the digital industry
- Digital Marketing Campaign Management and strategy background preferred
- Strong management skills: display fairness and professionalism at all times
- Ability to mentor and grow juniors that you are managing
- Three+ years experience utilizing and implementing Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Adobe Analytics (Advantage)
- Google Analytics IQ Exam Certified (up to date certificate required)
- Google Marketing Platform (DV360, SA360 and Campaign Manager 360) and Google Ads certified (advantage)(up to date certificate required)
- Tech Savvy: you pick up new technology quickly and have intermediate knowledge and experience with, but not limited to, Java Script, Python, R, SQL
- Strong ability to navigate teams and find experts where needed. Able to operate within grey areas and without clear direction regarding what is needed.
- Experience in stabilizing high-pressure situations and tights deadlines
- Experience in working within a fast-paced global team
- Experience in working directly with Department Heads and commercial teams.
- Project Management experience: you can work independently and prioritize multiple projects
- You are a great communicator, with the ability to talk with clients and other partners, showing a real passion for helping clients solve complex business and questions
- You are a self-starter that seeks knowledge and expertise in digital analytics
- Thinking ahead and being able to identify areas of improvements within for clients
- Ability to identify and support teams to resolve technology/platform problems as well as reporting discrepancies, tracking issues and any other tech-related issues which affect campaigns
- Ability to understand the customer’s key business and marketing challenges and translate this into how our tech and services can achieve these goals
- Ability to be entrepreneurial and to create own opportunities
- Strong ability to prioritise and managing own time as well as assisting teams where needed
- Not being afraid to take the lead in client meetings and questioning client approaches
- Good technical communicator – be able to turn complexity into simplicity
- Outstanding ability to think creatively and strategically within the the digital marketing space
