Job description
GVI is seeking an analytical individual to take on the new role of Head of Digital in our growing marketing team.
As the Head of Digital, you will take overall responsibility for the performance of GVI’s online customer acquisition activities.
You will lead a creative and analytical team who are specialists in content writing, social media, SEO, product development, campaign management, brand strategy, email marketing and website management.
In-depth knowledge of content marketing best practices and testing are essential, as well as a data-driven and analytical approach, to ensure our marketing department makes smart decisions based on data, and that all digital touch points are effectively integrated.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for key business metrics including traffic, leads, and site-to-lead conversion
- Digital reporting: responsibility for gathering and analyzing data, insuring implementation of agreed upon changes
- Managing technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM,CMS) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads
- Providing administrative management and leadership to the growing digital team
- Responsibility for a consistent and effective user journey across all online touch points
- Serving as a liaison between the design, development and offline marketing teams
- Conversion optimisation: responsibility for increasing the rate at which site traffic converts to leads and leads to customers, improving our marketing funnel optimization to drive marketing-qualified leads for our sales team
- Working closely with the PPC and programmatic teams to ensure integration within our in-house digital efforts
- Working with the Head of Creative to conceptualise and roll out digital strategies
- Developing, designing and implementing cross-platform integrated campaigns including but not limited to email marketing, social media, SEO, PPC, and programmatic channels
- Managing and editing all written content produced by the marketing team, ensuring alignment to the brand guidelines
- Overseeing the management of our CMS.
Required experience
The successful applicant will ideally have seven+ years of work experience in a related field.

Requirements

- Proven commercial acumen. Evidence of setting and delivering digital KPIs and metrics.
- Proficiency in marketing systems (SalesForce, Google Analytics, Adwords and Console
- Drive to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects at once, which involve stakeholders across the company
- Expertise in digital business strategy
- A solid understanding of SEO and the relationship with PPC
- Experience mentoring and developing teams
- A wide-ranging knowledge of what makes a truly holistic digital marketing team
- Experience managing a content team, including editing and proofing team members’work whilst aligning it to brand and style guidelines
- Editorial prowess, and immaculate grammar and knowledge of punctuation
- An eye for detail and design
- A high speed of execution
