Purpose We are looking for a highly motivated TV sales executive to join our small, dynamic team. The main role is to generate sales, service clients and grow revenues across the Blackstar TV channels (The Home Channel, IGNITION TV, Business Day TV) and Soweto TV and 1KZN TV. You must be target-driven and have a good understanding of customised content and TV sponsorship, and have excellent media agency relationships. Having a positive attitude, a good sense of humour, and willingness to get involved will go a long way in securing your chance of joining our team. You must be able to interact on all levels and engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
Main responsibilities
Contribute to the strategic success of the channels;
achieve set individual targets and yields
Generate weekly sales call reports for the Sales Manager
Contribute to the development of the Sales Strategy and execution thereof
Initiate, develop and maintain business relationships with key clients
Customer relationship and service – stimulate the market by providing the client with innovative ideas and advertising platforms in line with the client’s advertising objectives.
Identify and capitalise on opportunities to generate additional income for the department
Prepare sales pitches using current research, and perform the entire sales transaction successfully, consistently meeting monthly targets
Work against strict deadlines
Maintain cross-departmental (print, online – editorial, production, advertising and circulation, marketing and finance) relationship

A leading Petrochemical company seeks the expertise of a highly skilled Integration Analyst to join its team. Successful incumbent should Manage the System Landscape Directory for the integration platform, configure alerts, RFC lookups, BAPIs and BPMs. Must have an NQF Level six Qualification with three years’ SAP XI/PI or PO experience.
Duties:
SAP integration Software Life Cycle management:
Implement and maintain the SAP Integration environment in the SAP Technical Landscape (development, test, training and production) using a structured approach that minimises the risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance.
Design and implement an optimal SAP integration configuration to maximize system performance and availability.
Project Delivery:
Participate in the planning and implementation of software upgrades.
Contribute to operational projects when adopting and integrating new software and systems .
Complete operational project deliverables: on time, in budget, to the client’s satisfaction and within quality parameters.
Data and System protection, security and integrity:
Maintain the integrity of the environment through policies and ensure all configuration and system parameters are deployed as per company’s security and data protection standards.
Implement security and vulnerability related technical configuration changes to reduce the risk of systems being compromised.
Incident and problem management:
Resolve incidents / problems timeously and ensure architecture, design and configuration best practices are adhered to during Incident / Problem investigation and resolution.
Provide technical feasibility and appropriateness of proposed incident & problem resolutions when alternative solutions are available.
Provide appropriate assessment of Vulnerability assessment recommendations with regard to relevance for companies Operations.
Requirements:
NQF level six: Higher Level certificate in IT or a minimum of three years’ experience as an Integration Analyst.
Three years’ SAP XI / PI or PO experience, including, PI architecture and adapter framework.
Windows and SQL 2008 R2 or later with integration to NetWeaver 7.4 or later SAP systems.
Two+ years’ SAP PI message / value mapping skills.
Two years’ experience using SAP Integration technologies e.g. ALE, iDOCs
Standby and overtime (weekends and after-hours support).
The following would be advantageous:
SAP PO / BPM experience.
SAP Data Services.
Java programming and mapping skills.
Good understanding of network architecture / security and communication protocols.
Working in the SAP PI portal environment.
