Job description

Business Analyst position required for continuity for the Shoprite priority projects. The position is to backfill within the Finance value chain area for a period of 12 months to achieve project goals and understand the business objectives, primary problem areas, business processes affected and the stakeholders involved.

Qualifications:
-3 years Degree/Diploma in Information Systems, Technology or Finance or Analysis / if no degree/diploma, experience should be double the years of the qualification in a BA role OR (refer to additional info per domain)
-1 year Diploma in Business Analysis (National Certificate ….) FTI

Knowledge:
Desirable:
-ERP experience (Related to Business Domain)
-SAP Experience
-Experience in a financial industry and environment

Essential:
-Formal training in business analysis and design methodologies
-Experience in participating in projects
-Solid track record in successful delivery in the BA environment
-Commercial and business understanding of the broader retail industry will be advantageous.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 12 MONTH CONTRACT POSITION SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A BA ASSESSMENT AND FINANCE TEST

Intermediate BA’s (5+ years experience in working on complex projects), with sound financial knowledge and experience, retail experience (across the FMCG value chain), experience in digital customer experience projects, E-commerce will be advantageous.
