Responsibilities:
Assisting COO with daily operational duties
Liaising with Heads of Department (Finance, Marketing, Design, Operations and HR)
General Administration
Coordinate travel arrangements
Answering calls and handling queries from staff, suppliers and clients
Assisting the COO to meet important tasks/deadlines
Banking and other work related errands on behalf of the COO
General office support
Minimum requirements:
2 – 3 years working experience as a Personal Assistant / Executive Secretary
Must have own transport – will be expected to travel for work
Excellent communication skills both written verbal and written
Fully computer literate
Accurate, fast typing skills
Good time management – work effectively with minimal supervision
Good under pressure and able to think on your feet
Must be a South African Citizen with a valid ID doc or must have a valid work permit

Loading of Payments in Electronic Banking
Liaise with labour lawyer on any Bargaining Council matters
Bank Reconciliations
Cash Management Experience
Capturing from source documents, full function debtors, creditors, cashbook and general ledger
Provide training and guide companies regarding all matters of bookkeeping preparation and provision of information in terms of compliance requirements
Assist and guide companies in the preparation of financial plans/budgets/forecasts
Provide reports and feedback on the progress of the company on a monthly basis
Preparing monthly income statements
Manage business Tax liabilities, CIPC and personal tax
Provide status reports as per compliance requirements
Managing supplier remittance and statements
Assist in review and reporting of weekly reports including; cash safe checks, sales and business expenses
Knowledge of Relevant HR Legislation and Statutory Requirements
HR administration
Engagement packs for new employees and conducting HR induction
Follow-up on approval of all HR documents (i.e. Requisitions, Individual Transaction forms, Training forms, Leave approvals),
Filing and maintain all HR documentation (both manually and electronically)
Collate and maintain HR system/s on a monthly basis
Create monthly HR reports
Regularly update all records and files for audit purposes
Be the first point of contact in assisting employees and managers with HR related queries
Minimum requirements:
Formal completed bookkeeping qualification
Pastel Payroll: 1 years
Bookkeeping: 5 years
Pastel: 3 years
Human Resources Administration: 2 years
Fully computer literate
Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to multi-task
Good under pressure and able to think on your feet
Must be a South African Citizen with a valid ID doc or must have a valid work permit
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Good contactable references
GAAP point of sales system knowledge would be an advantageous

Analyse all issues raised from Production and QA team by:
Remedy Action Request System (when on Standby)
Data held on DB2 databases by running queries
Text log files located on IBM servers running AIX OS/WAS logs
Discussions with business owners
JIRA Defect Tracking System
Knowing the company Support Software both tactical and strategic
Raise valid defects adding all required information into JIRA Defects to the appropriate departments.
Provide developers and testers with all information they require in resolving the bugs.
Attempt to resolve issues before escalating to QA Team.
Define needed Support Tools for use to make support process better.
Responsible for ensuring a 24/7 support coverage for our client’s Production System.
Provide assistance and training to other members of the team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications –
Information Technology or Technical qualification – NDIT or Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience/Skills –
Experience as a Support Analyst.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience:
Working with business process models (UML).
Working knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Solid SQL, SQL queries, XSDs and XML.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with scripting languages.
Proven ability to read system logs and software build scripts.
Knowledge of Configuration Management.
SSH Terminal commands.
