Qualifications: 

  • Certified Scrum Professional
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Product Owner
  • Agile Certified Practitioners (ACP) – PMI

Requirements

  • Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, DSDM, TSP, Crystal, FDD
  • Experience applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
  • Previous experience as a team lead
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
  • Consulting experience in a variety of industry will be an advantage
  • Experience with the implementation of Agile in an organisation will be an advantage
  • Background in project management either through the initiative experience or as a practicing project manager.

FMCG Plant seeks a motivated, energetic and dynamic individual to assume this dedicated position. You will report to the Procurement Manager. You will need to be travel and work out of your car and often sleep out away from home.

Duties Include:

  • Responsible for farm visits to all Northern provinces potato producing farms that have contracts with LBF.
  • Perform/manage QC inspections on the farms – as per LBF raw material QC sheet, to minimize out of specs loads arriving at factory.
  • Maintain sound relationships with current potato producers as well as sourcing new potato producers
  • Responsible for coordinating the inbound logistics between service provider and the factory.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of potato production and processing requirements
  • A valid drivers licence
  • Willing to travel nationally

  • Computer literate – Excel to Intermediate Level

A leading petrochemical group seeks the expertise of a highly methodical Costing and Pricing Master-Data Manager to join its team. Your core role will involve identifying and driving initiatives to improve delivery, SAP Inputs and ensuring accurate price capture, resolving any control weaknesses and queries. The ideal candidate must possess a BCom Finance Degree (NQF Level 7), five years’ experience in senior finance role with knowledge of Costing, Pricing and Master-Data and three years management experience.

Duties:

Initiatives Identification and Delivery –

  • Identify and drive simplification initiatives which will improve delivery by develop specialist knowledge with respect to pricing and costing thereby allowing the easy identification of simplification initiatives and ensuring initiatives are driven to conclusion.

SAP Inputs and System Management –

  • Ensure accurate capture of selling prices and cost prices into SAP by reviewing inputs and comparing to source documents in order to ensure accurate capture of pricing and costing conditions.

Business Process Governance –

  • Identify control weaknesses and drive the necessary changes to improve controls thereby ensuring a well governed pricing and costing environment.

Stakeholder Management –

  • Build and maintain sustainable relationships through engagement with internal stakeholders on delivery needs, understanding requirements and ensuring that SLA’s are in place and adhered to.

Query Handling and Team Delivery –

  • Ensure that queries are managed and resolved within SLA and drive team delivery in accordance to FSSC SLA’s.

Requirements:

  • BCom Degree in Finance (NQF Level 7).
  • Five years’ experience in a Senior Finance role with knowledge of Costing, Pricing and Master Data.
  • Three years’ People Management experience.

Advantageous –

  • Previous experience working in a pricing and costing environment.

Your core role will include preparing Lean Six Sigma training materials, executing process improvement initiatives, process redesign consultation and documenting simplified processes. You will require a Degree/Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent, five years’ working experience in business process improvement and two years using Lean Six Sigma to simply process. Any Scrum Master certification will prove beneficial.

Duties:

Lean Six Sigma Training Materials –

  • Prepare materials for Lean Six Sigma training to management and staff to bring awareness on waste identification and how to use basic Lean Six Sigma toolkit.

Execute Process Improvement Initiatives –

  • Support the organisation in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives through working closely with process owner to drive data collection and to prepare recommendations to decision makers to ensure processes within the organisation are robust, up to date and able to deliver targeted results.

Process Redesign Consultation –

  • Provide consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques through continuous engagement with the staff on methodology & processes to improve process performance and product quality.

Communications –

  • Enhance awareness and promotions on process improvement through sharing of content on success story to intranet or other communication channel to create an organisation that is well informed on process improvement activities.

Document Simplified Processes –

  • Support the business by documenting and monitoring business processes, business rules and metrics resulting from business improvement initiatives.
